SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

1. SHIPPING COSTS & ARRANGEMENTS

All artwork prices listed on humanarty.org are exclusive of shipping, handling, crating, and insurance costs.

  • Bespoke Arrangements: Due to the high value and delicate nature of our collections, shipping is not automated at checkout. All shipping arrangements must be agreed upon in writing via email or a signed commercial invoice prior to dispatch.

  • Buyer Responsibility: The Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with the transport of the artwork from our premises/artist studio to the final destination. This includes, but is not limited to, specialized art crating, courier fees, and transit insurance.

2. IMPORT DUTIES, TAXES, AND CUSTOMS

HUMANARTY operates as a global platform with entities in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong.

  • Importer of Record: The Buyer acts as the "Importer of Record" for all international shipments.

  • Payment of Fees: All import duties, VAT, GST, customs brokerage fees, and local administrative taxes imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.

  • Non-Payment: Failure to pay these fees may result in the artwork being held, returned, or destroyed by customs. In such cases, the Buyer remains liable for the full purchase price and any return shipping costs incurred by HUMANARTY.

3. CONCIERGE SHIPPING & SECURE HANDOVER

We are pleased to manage the logistics of your acquisition to ensure a seamless experience from our gallery to your collection.

  • Our Service: HUMANARTY will handle the professional coordination, export documentation, and arrangements with specialized fine-art carriers on your behalf, provided all costs are settled by the Buyer in advance.

  • The Handover: To ensure the highest level of care, responsibility for the artwork (the "Transfer of Risk") transitions to the Buyer at the moment the work is securely handed over to the professional carrier.

  • Peace of Mind: Because your acquisition is a significant investment, we will only release the work once comprehensive "Nail-to-Nail" insurance has been confirmed or arranged as part of the shipping package. This ensures that your artwork is protected by the carrier’s coverage throughout its entire journey.

4. WRITTEN CONFIRMATION REQUIRED

No artwork will be released for shipment until:

  1. The artwork price is paid in full.

  2. A written shipping quote/plan has been approved by the Buyer.

  3. All logistics costs have been settled or a "Freight Collect" account has been verified.

5. Legal Identity & Governing Law

This Shipping & Delivery Policy is issued by HUMANARTY Limited. By approving a shipping quote or settling an invoice, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales or the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, as applicable to the transaction.
